What is health coaching?

In Health Coaching, we engage with clients/patients to alter their health behavior. We use effective strategies and evidence-based support to help them in achieving their health goals through life style and behavior modification.
In Health Coaching we consider all areas of a person’s life and address them with variety of health coaching tools. We approach health from the multi-dimensional perspective collaborating if needed with medical doctors, nurses or other complementary health practitioners. It is a bio-individual approach based on clinical mentoring and support to facilitate the positive change in client’s lifestyle that make them feel their best.

Why do we need health coaching?

In today’s world, rapidly evolving science is positively affecting the healthcare system, however the nature of our diseases is changing as well. Acute diseases are being outnumbered by chronic diseases, at an alarming rate. “Only 2% of the population is affected by a single – gene disorder. The diseases that are today’s scourges – diabetes, heart disease, and cancer is a result of a complex interaction among multiple genes and environmental factors.” – Bruce H. Lipton, PhD, The Biology of Belief.
The complexity of scientific developments, especially in the area of microbiome, genetics and sophisticated diagnostic devices causes medical doctors to specialize and focus on specific area. They no more have time and appropriate skills to evaluate and address patient’s life style and habits. Considering average time spent with each patient, typically, they evaluate and address patient’s complaint and order tests or prescribe medications.

What to expect from a health coaching session with us?

Firstly, we spend time helping you to identify what your personal health issues are and what is their root cause. Then, we explore the ways they can intersect and affect you physically, mentally and spiritually. And finally, we develop strategies to overcome them one step at a time, issues by issue. You will be mentored and guided to follow the best possible approach for achieving your desired results.
